Exclusive interview with Allison Scagliotti of Warehouse 13 - June 28, 2011

Warehouse 13, Syfy's most successful series ever, returns for its third season on Monday, July 11, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The series follows a team of government agents who protect a top-secret warehouse that holds strange and mysterious artifacts that they help track down. The team is led by former secret service agents Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) and Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly), who's character left the warehouse at the end of last season. They are joined by apprentice Claudia Donovan, played by Allison Scagliotti, and new agent Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore), as well as the warehouse's caretaker, Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek).

Claudia, Scagliotti's character, is the brilliant young hacker who kidnapped Artie in the first season in order to save her brother, and was eventually welcomed as part of the team by Artie, rather than disposed of as a security threat. She has become a very valuable member of the team.

Scagliotti recently sat down with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision for an exclusive interview to discuss the upcoming season.

Ghost Hunters International returns to Syfy on Wednesday, July 13, with a new team member – Kris Williams, formerly a researcher with the original Ghost Hunters. Williams has been promoted to co-lead investigator this year but retains her trademark skepticism. "I believe in the paranormal," she says, "and that I've had a lot of strange experiences that I still can't explain. But I don't believe that every place that we go to is haunted. And it's our job to try to figure out what's going on there."

Season three finds the GHl team hop-scotching all over the globe, with episodes in Trinidad, Argentina, England, Ireland, New Zealand, and American Samoa.

Kris says she finds the new assignments challenging. "International has been quite a change," she explains. "When you go overseas, you're dealing with different foods, different money, different languages, different cultures, different belief systems. So all around it's a challenge."

Syfy's longest-running scripted series, Eureka, will return for season 4.5 on Monday, July 11 at 8:00 pm ET/PT, with ten all-new episodes. The season continues where it left off, with the characters still dealing with the changes from their time travel. There are even more new problems as there is an accident of "astronomical proportions."

Will Sheriff Carter (Colin Ferguson) and Allison (Salli Richardson-Whitfield) be able to save the town, or will their new relationship get in the way? What will happen now that Zane (Niall Matter) knows something is amiss with himself and Jo (Erica Cerra)?

Colin Ferguson and Salli Richardson-Whitfield sat down recently to talk to the digital media about the upcoming episodes as well as Richardson-Whitfield's directorial debut with episode 415 titled "Omega Girls," which airs Aug. 8 on Syfy.

Returning for the second half of its fourth season this summer, Eureka is currently Syfy's longest-running scripted series. Recently, Javier Colon was selected as winner of NBC's wildly popular singing competition, The Voice. Visibly nervous in the final moments, the soulful pop singer seemed genuinely surprised at his big win.

He talked about his victory in a recent conference call with reporters.

"In that moment," Javier explained, "I was expecting Carson [Daly] to say 'And the winner of The Voice is Dia Frampton.' That's what I was preparing myself for. I just didn't think I was going to win."

"I've been through so much in the business," he continued, referring to his previous record deals. "And when he said my name I just honestly was in shock. I just couldn't believe that I had come so far and I actually won."

Warehouse13 is about to enter its third season. The series, returning on Monday, July 11, starts with the team still upset after Myka Bering's (Joanne Kelly) departure. New agent Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) is brought in and the team, including Myka's partner Pete Lattimer, played by Eddie McClintock, is not happy with the change.
