Lucifer Season 5A Gallery - Premiering 8/21/20

Lucifer, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD…and the savvy detective Chloe Decker in particular. In Part A of season 5, Lucifer’s twin brother Michael secretly takes the devil's place on earth while he's back in Hell. Eventually, Lucifer must return and face the mess his brother made with his life. He’ll also finally confront his feelings for Chloe, and answer a question fans have been asking since the very beginning: “will they or won’t they”?

Lucifer - 5.02 - "Lucifer! Lucifer! Lucifer!"

An astronaut (Ashlei Tave) opens a sealed room in what looks to be some kind of spaceship. She sneaks with a knife over to one of the sleeping passengers and uses it to break open their lockbox. She pulls an apple out and starts to eat it, when suddenly another astronaut comes from behind and stabs her.

Chloe (Lauren German) looks for Lucifer (Tom Ellis), letting a still annoyed Ella (Aimee Garcia) realize he’s back.

Meanwhile, the doppelgänger (Ellis) practices Lucifer’s accent and talking to Chloe while naked in front of his mirror.

Chloe and Ella investigate the murder of Judy Mason, a biochemist and commander of the Red 2 Mars project, a simulation engineered by Brody Aerospace, run by Anders Brody (Stephen Schneider), the tech billionaire, who Chloe says she talked to last year on a boat. Ella says that now he has a spaceship and was planning to take rich civilians to the red planet to be the first Mars colony. Judy, who was the only scientist, was stabbed in the neck. They find a hair in a bloody footprint, but the killer must have cleaned, because none of the suits had blood on them. Since no one is allowed in or out of the dome, they assume killer has to be one of the five crew. Most of the camera footage has been wiped.

Lucifer - 5.01 - "Really Sad Devil Guy"

The episode opens with Mr. Said Out Bitch (Jeremiah Birkett) on his yacht partying when he’s propositioned by one of the women. He goes below deck to get into something more comfortable, but instead he finds Lucifer (Tom Ellis), who reveals he’s in Hell and tells him he’s going to be murdered.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, the team is investigating the murder. Mr. Said Out Bitch’s real name is Lee Garner. He’s been shot in the chest and is missing a hand.

Chloe (Lauren German) has brought Maze (Lesley Ann-Brandt) to the crime scene in lieu of Lucifer. Ella (Amy Garcia) is upset that Lucifer ghosted her, thinking he’s in Florida helping with his family business. Chloe is upset that he's still gone but says she’s fine.

Friday, the first eight episodes of season five of the hit series, Lucifer, dropped on Netflix. The series, based on the character created by Neil Gaiman for the Sandman series, follows Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the devil, who abandoned Hell for LA. Lucifer works as a consultant alongside partner Chloe Decker (Lauren German) at the LAPD solving crimes often involving the supernatural. When dealing with evidence, they get help from forensic scientist Ella Lopez, played by Aimee Garcia.

Garcia recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about working on the show, romantic interests for her character, costumes, and more.

Based on a character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg and taken from the comic book series The Sandman and the subsequent spin-off, Lucifer, the television series Lucifer originally aired on FOX for three seasons. After its cancellation, it was picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode fourth season, which arrived today on DVD and Blu-ray (via the Warner Archive Collection).

The series follows Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), who came to Los Angeles and bought a bar after deciding to take a vacation from Hell, but who now works as a consultant for the LAPD with partner Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). The two work together solving murders, with Lucifer sometimes using his powers of being able to force people to admit their true desires to help the cases along.

During the course of the three seasons, the two became closer and Lucifer started to change his ways.

At the end of season three, the two finally kissed, however, Chloe later saw Lucifer’s devil face, proof that he was really who he claimed to be.

Although the drama series Lucifer was cancelled by FOX after three seasons, it was later picked up by Netflix. Today, all ten episodes of the fourth season drops on the streaming service.

The series, which is based on the DC Comics character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg from the comic book series The Sandman, stars Tom Ellis, as the devil, Lucifer Morningstar, who has abandoned Hell for Los Angeles and now works as a consultant at the LAPD alongside Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German), as well as runs the nightclub Lux.

At the end of season three Chloe saw Lucifer’s true face, his “devil face,” and Lucifer awaited her reaction.

Today, Netflix unveils the premiere date and key art of the revived fan-favorite series, LUCIFER, with a teaser showing the devil living his best life in Los Angeles (which looks not totally unlike a Dior ad).

On May 8, 2019, all hell breaks loose (again!) when Netflix premieres Season 4 of Lucifer, the cult-favorite, fantasy comedy-drama about fallen angel and ex-Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar, a Los Angeles nightclub owner who expertly deploys his devil-may-care attitude while moonlighting as an LAPD consultant.
