In the most recent episode of Revival, when Reviver Arlene (Nicky Guadagni) showed up in the church during her daughter’s funeral and snapped the neck of her son-in-law Bob Dittman (Derek McGrath), even the Sheriff (David James Elliott) wasn’t able to stop her by filling her with bullets. It was Blaine Abel (Steven Ogg) who finally stopped her for the time being by dousing her in something flammable and lighting her on fire. By the end of the episode, it appears some of the members of the town are now looking to him as leader to fight in what he deems is an upcoming holy war.

Ogg recently spoke with SciFi Vision about working on the series, including what drew him to the role of the preacher, where he pulled inspiration for the character, and more, as well as if he would ever return to The Walking Dead: Dead City for another flashback to play Simon again.
