The following interview contains slight spoilers for season two

The historical drama The Buccaneers, which is set in the 1870s, follows a lively group of American women, who in season one, cross the Atlantic in search of titled husbands and social acceptance among the British elite. However, their brash, independent attitudes clash with the strict traditions of English aristocracy. In the second season, now firmly established in society, they face of the realities of adulthood, shifting friendships, and personal secrets. Nan (Kristine Frøseth), having sacrificed her love for Guy (Matthew Broome) to marry Theo (Guy Remmers), the Duke of Tintagel, is now grappling the emotional fallout of that choice, as well as her new role of duchess. Lizzy (Aubri Ibrag), who had often been in the background, steps into the spotlight with her own romantic drama, finding herself at the center of a growing romantic triangle between the charming and principled new MP, Hector Robinson (Jacob Ifan), and none other than Lizzy’s husband Theo.

Ifan, Ibrag, and Remmers recently spoke with SciFi Vision about working on season two, including the love triangle between their characters, working with the costumes this season, and more.
