In Hal & Harper, the closeness that two siblings share is both their comfort and their curse. When their father (Mark Ruffalo) announces he and his girlfriend (Betty Gilpin) are having a baby, Hal (Cooper Raiff) and Harper (Lili Reinhart) start to reexamine their past and who they have become as adults. The eight-episode series explores their closeness and codependence and how their bond has shaped who they have become, for better or worse.

Recently, star Raiff, who also wrote and directed the series, spoke with SciFi Vision about creating Hal & Harper, including where the idea came from, juggling writing, directing, and acting on the same project, why it’s important to appeal to a wide audience, and much more.
